Sponsoring Senators
All ASUNM Senators are assigned to represent the interests and needs of student organizations with undergraduate members. These Sponsoring Senators can be a valuable resource for your group with help completing appropriation requests, submitting budget requests, drafting legislation, advocacy, and much more. Every Senator has office hours in the ASUNM Office and should be accessible via email. If you are having problems reaching your Senator, please let the ASUNM Vice President know - asunmvp@unm.edu. Sponsoring Senators are assigned at the end of the chartering process in the fall semester (usually late September) and at the beginning of the spring semester (usually early February). If you need assistance before a Sponsoring Senator is assigned to your organization, please reach out to the ASUNM Vice President - asunmvp@unm.edu.
